The system features a large selection of Hollywood blockbuster movies with DVD like controls (pause, fast forward and
rewind). OxfordSVI's VOD interfaces to the Property Management System (PMS) of the hotel for direct billing to the guest
folio and provides folio review with express checkout through the television. The system runs on the existing RF cable plant
installed in the property and integrates easily with both satellite and cable Free-to-Guest (FTG) systems. The system can
utilize both smart plug (commercial) and non-smart plug (consumer) television sets. OxfordSVI provides 24x7 telephone
support to the hotel guest as well as the hotel staff, utilizing state-of-the-art remote diagnostic techniques for maximum
uptime.
To watch a movie, the guest simply turns on the TV which brings you to our “barker channel,” with channel line-up and movie
previews. Once a movie is chosen, the guest can use our easy-to-use remote to purchase the movie from the TV by using a
credit card, bill to folio, or cash. Most movies cost $10.99 and OxfordSVI is responsible for processing of credit card
information.
